Aqara Valve Controller T1
The Aqara Valve Controller T1 is a smart, battery-powered device designed to automate existing water or gas valves, providing enhanced safety and convenience for your home. It is a retrofit device that installs over the handle of your existing valve, eliminating the need for complex plumbing or wiring.
The T1 uses the energy-efficient Zigbee protocol for stable and responsive communication. It acts as an end device, and for smart functionality, requires an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub. The primary purpose of the Valve Controller T1 is water or gas leak protection. When paired with an Aqara Water Leak Sensor T1, it can automatically and quickly shut off the corresponding valve if a leak is detected, even when you’re away from home. You can control the valve remotely through the Aqara Home app, create schedules, or use voice commands via integrated smart assistants. A physical button is also present on the device for manual control.
